birthdays!
Appearance at Paranaque last Saturday. We could have more appearances.. but we lived from point A to Point B, if only we could have a middle point, right? :) I hope they dont get the idea that we dont like dropping by, It is just that the area is too far away and there are also a lot of things to consider since we travel as a family-Czesca being the number one for consideration, if she is feeling well, etc. so yun..Im sorry we couldn't drop by more often ;( but thank you for keeping your doors open. :)
I attended my father's post birthday celebration last Sunday. If I am calculating right, I think he just turned 45 , no joke..bata pa noh? ;). anyway, So we've known each other for 3 years now. The relationship and comfort level is gradually progressing positively. I think we're all doing okay. although my mother is still hung up on the negativity of the past regarding what happened between them.
Anyway....The cheeks, the shape of my nose, the blink of my eyes, heritage.
I am reminded. :) nakakatuwa talaga..nakaka-amuse.
Unfortunately...there were no photos to celebrate on for the after party, aside from cellphone shots because no one had brought their camera. I forgot to charge mine. (Excused :). ) I think Czesca had the most fun. walking and strolling and walking and walking and walking everywhere. ang likot as always :)
It was also the day for my first Rambutan. A reddish Garapata-looking fruit (or so my father described it). It tasted okay, but I can not say I will list it up as one of my favorites. Actually people, the truth is, I think I dont really have a favorite fruit since I eat only a namely few such as Mangoes, Apples, Oranges, Strawberries, Lanzones, Grapes, Santol, Pineapple (juice form) and Laya on occassional terms. O di ba ang dami? i dont like coconuts, melons, watermelons, atis etc...the list of i dont eat fruits goes on. My favorite that time was The Hong-Ba/Hom-Ba... (Or the sweeteened Adobo in my world ) which was delicious. Yummy. My mother was right,Lola Chit's cooking is great! Todo-bola :) pero totoo yan ha :)
My brother though (the eldest) and I are no longer talking as much as we used to do before when we just met each other. Walang Tulugan. ngayon...Walang Pakialamanan. :) joke. But its okay. We are siblings. We are inevitable in each other's world. we'll have lots of chances in the future. :)
What I like about paranaque is that eventhough We have all only known each other for a short time pa lang, they never fail to make us feel welcome and feel 'family'. And everytime, naiiwan sa isip ko yung picture na andun sila lahat sa gate and they are smiling and waving goodbye as they see us off na talagang parang they'll miss us. In conclusion,Its a good feeling to know I also have this family as well as the one I have grown up with. and what i appreciate the most is the sincerity. :) Im very lucky indeed. :)
Thank you very much for your kindness, your warm welcome and for all your love. :)
See you all soon.
