Cash and Charge

...it to experience.
So we think we got problems? Cheers to Manong Pabundol of the Pabangga Gang. (ok so I invented the a.k.a only so we could identify better) Scums whose daily job is to wait and randomly pick a car to get hit by. Matindi na talaga ang pangangailangan niya. Its a pity to know people are this desperate, but im honestly not too sympathetic right now. P.I ka Manong, Papatayin mo ba ako sa nerbyos? Ikaw ang highlight ng araw ko kahapon.

We were on our way home to Manila,pero along Makati pa kami. This happened last night. Medyo traffic and sa may bandang pa stoplight na so mabagal na super yung takbo namin. And This old guy jumped out of the darkness from the center island, walked infront of us then all of a sudden he ran towards the passenger side of the car and hit the side mirror and then bumale-balentong pa tumbling tumbling sa kalsada then bumulagta sa middle of the road pero sa likod ng sasakyan namin and he made it looked like binundol namin siya. And I was so shocked nalaglag ko lahat ng gamit ko, ipod ko, lahat. May mga kanin kanin pa kumalat sa windshield namin. Everything happened so fast. Then this guy got up walked infront us again and then umupo siya dun sa center island, holding a styro with smudged blood stains on it (so from afar, akalain mo talaga na dinudugo siya). He was pointing to his elbow pero makinis siya and wala siyang bali or anything or any wound at all, the blood stains were tuyong tuyo na, props on the styro parang ganun. Traffic din nun so there was no way we could hit anybody and titilapon siya ng ganun,we were not even on the lane near the island, nasa gitna kami kaya nga kinailangan pa niyang lumakad papalapit bago nagpabangga,but there were other vehicles behind us, and if you didnt see what happened and makikita mo na lang yung tao na nakahandusay sa kalsada, hindi mo naman kaagad maiisip that its his fault and he did it on purpose so public pressure din ang naramdaman namin that moment. Ryan also saw the look on his face and dun nga niya na confirm that this old guy pulled a stunt on us. Fuck talaga. There was no dent whatsoever on the car...kinalampag lang din niya kaya tumunog na parang nabangga. Ryan went back to the car after niya super pagalitan and usisain yung manong and I even popped my head out the window to do the same thing begging the guy to never do such a thing again because you never know what his chances are next time di ba? We gave him money 'for his efforts', to which he said "kulang toh...kulang toh" And healthy na siya ulit ha. It was a hell of a night.

Pumpkin heads up

Location: University of Sto. Tomas (Espana,Manila). It is probably one of the oldest universities in Manila.
Background music: sounds of howling dogs on a full moon and loud slow heart beats... (sorry ka pero kailangan talaga, meron. ako author dito ;p)

Story: A female college student went to the toilet room to wash her face after the last of her night classes was dismissed. This girl was infront of the mirror, when she washed her face with water. As soon as the water splashed on to her skin and she raised her head to face the mirror, she saw a reflection of a woman with long black hair standing but elevated from the floor just a few feet behind her. She spun around but saw no one and yet when she turned to face the mirror again it was there again, only closer.To her panic, she shut her eye lids so tight the straining was obvious and then she quickly chanted "Hail Mary full of Grace...Hail mary full of grace...Hail Mary full of grace" in an attempt to pray it away. You'd think the prayer would make it go away, but when she opened her eyes, It was standing an inch right behind her, "hail Mary full of grace hail mary full of grace" it mimmicked with a very amused grin. ***o may kinilabutan ba?...ah wala...hahahaha***
Urban Legend. This has a version in Bagiou, PICC, CCP and who knows where else. If its a simple fabricated story or if its true, who knows for real?

Pagmuni-muni ng mga kanya-kanyang ghost stories;halukayin na ang baul, takutan na naman. Halloween is drawing near. And while other countries trick or treat, majority of the Pinoys are up to exchanging creepy experiences and entertaining the existence of the unnatural. Tagay. Tagay. (Although with all due respect, I also acknowledge the fact that globally,yes we pay tribute to our dead, we share coincidental presence with people who go to the same graveyard/cemetery)

Another certain thing you can expect is heavy traffic, aside from people selling 'palamig' or ice cold drinks inside the cemetery,the flowers particularly expensive and the candle business doing good. Whatever is keeping the people busy, everyone is up to something. And malakas ang third eye ng Bayan sa panahong ganito.

Friends and barkadas dare each other to ghost hunt, driving by dark places and looking for something to maybe scare the life out of them. Quija Boards <speaking of Quija Board ha...super buulooook yang Quija movie nila Juday and Jolens. bakit kasi pinanood ko pa noon yan, la lang nalala ko lang,anu ba kasi> and circle formation for calling out spirits lurking by. I dont know all of it. But somewhere out there, im pretty sure someone is going to be up to it.

Too bad, there's no more "Magandang Gabi Bayan" Show, hosted before by none other than the now turned Vice President of the Philippines, Mr. Noli De Castro. Take note, dun ko napanuod ang mga anino ng mga dwendeng nag sasayaw ng Macarena :) Sa Pilipinas lang merong talented dwende :)

On my personal opinion with regards to ghost and the unnatural, i'll talk about it later ..................maybe.

So what do i like most about Halloween? No Work. No Classes. I am definitely not looking forward to the time when i will have to spend Halloween or All Saints Day, the way it was originally meant to. I think im staying home again this year. Yaya could do whatever, its her birthday anyway, yes seriously it is. Maybe I'll get her a cake. hmm.

~~~but yes i also do remember my sister, and we will light a candle for her.
1.5 litro ng Pepsi nga po.
Fipilino Ingenuity? not totally lost after all. Last Sunday,We were walking the streets of Carriedo. (bakya ba? hahaha...regular kami dito,dito kasi me nagpapa-print ng pictures- sa photo printing shop ng Tita ko. and dito kami bumibili nung Pirated DVD ;P) When you want to go here though, for your safety, please refrain from wearing you expensive jewelries, or wearing fancy outfits, you'll either attract bad people your way or have a hard time bargaining for prices. ;)
One vendor was selling this:
It caught my eye that he was making and cutting them to shapes, on the spot, and that it was made out of plastic liter bottles of softdrinks. It's not really Class A Material, just the fact that it tells so much of Filipino Ingenuity. So what about it? that some Filipinos actually have talent but does not know how to pursue it, does not have the chance to pursue it, does not know they have talent or worst,does not believe in their talent anymore . Whatever goes for you.
This is a you-buy-it-as-it-is kind of marketing. No Packaging, No beautiful polishing finish, just as it is. Its just somebody trying to impress you with something familiar turned unfamiliar and get you to buy at least one. This person's cry of Poverty. As Poverty either forces someone to see things will never get better or to see things differently each time... In this case, the latter. They have turned this plastic bottle into another very different thing. Plus points were the very delicate details.
He was selling this for 35php. I bought it for 25php. We have to give credit for the talent. Mahirap talagang maging ordinaryong Pinoy sa gitna ng Maynila. Kaya sampung palakpak sa ating masisipag na Pinoy. Atleast hindi sila nagnanakaw or nanghoholdap. To think, out of 100 people who will pass him by and see what he is selling, although a big percentage will stop to admire, only a small percent takes time to appreciate a little more to give this guy credit not only for ingenuity but for his hardwork and actually buy one. And mahirap mag gupit the whole day, masakit sa thumb.
This is an ashtray by the way, i just used it as egg holder...because other than my daily breakfast of pollution from smoke belching jeepneys etc etc (during my pedicab ride to the bus station). I am a non-smoker, thank you. :P
